"A friend recommended the Gado Gado here after we had a terrible one at another Indonesian restaurant. It was perfect! Waited for around half an hour, but it was really worth it. The peanut sauce was not the usual store bought one or the gross one made with peanut butter. The portion was very generous. The vegetables were excellent as well and beautifully served in a leaf shaped big bowl. Payment only by bank transfer or cash. The atmosphere and the service were nothing extraordinary."

"Authentic indonesian restaurant in ultimo. Gado gado (mixed vegetables with peanut sauce) is the highlight here. They also have different variety of traditional indonesian dishes in the menu."

"This Indonesian restaurant offers a truly authentic dining experience, with a variety of both cold and hot dishes to choose from. You can really taste the effort that goes into each dish—especially the sauces, which are rich, complex, and full of flavor. Service can be a little slow during busy hours, but it's worth the wait. The food feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared, and the portions are generous for the price. A great spot for comforting, no-frills Indonesian food."

"Regularly visit this joint, and every time, I always order gado-gado / ketoprak. The portion is very generous for a $20 dish. The peanut sauce is undoubtedly the best so far I've had in Sydney, even better than some I've tried in Indonesia. Next time, I'll try some of their other dishes."

"The peanut sauce from Willis Canteen is so good. The peanut sauce was air freight from Sydney Australia and arrived safely in Toronto Canada. Compliments to the CHEF Willis and Indra."

"When we got here they had already closed the kitchen before lunch time, but my companion insisted on trying and to our surprise they were happy to seat us and give us some of the most friendly and welcoming service I've ever had. Food was delicious and at quite a good price too. Incredibly welcoming and cozy spot to have some great food, will be returning. (And sorry for the inconvenience hahah)"
